A 60th birthday garden party full of surprises for the Lake District National Park.

Join us for a grand afternoon family gala and tea party in the beautiful grounds of Brockhole for comedy, music, races and grand opening and closing ceremonies. Experience the Cumbrian Corner, play the Unfair Games, enjoy the music of the Mountainside Band and discover what comes out of the Cumbrian Chest of Time.

This afternoon of celebration has been created for Lakes Alive by four Northwest companies Fairly Famous Family, Whitewood and Fleming, Gary Bridgens and More Music in Morecambe. It will be part of a packed weekend of free activities at Brockhole including a Climbing Wall, Treasure Hunt, Face Painting, Caricaturist, Crafts and Badge Making from 11am - 4.30pm on both 13 & 14 August to celebrate the National Park's 60th birthday.
