Zircus Plus
Barrow's unique International Circus Festival, Zircus Plus, returns. Building on the inaugural festival in 2009, Zircus Plus 2010 runs for an extra day and spreads its wings beyond the beautiful Barrow Park into the Town Centre. Featuring some of the best and most exciting contemporary circus acts from Britain and overseas, this promises to keep the whole family entertained throughout the weekend. The dazzling line-up includes Les Studio Cirque de Marseilles with their daredevil Wheel of Death trilolgy (see You Tube link below), and the outdoor premiere of Lady Silk, a beautiful blend of aerial dance, circus, music and video art. They'll also be acrobats from Tanzania, circus tennis from France, rising talent in the Little Top and much, much more.

Zircus Plus
Town Centre: Performances by Wired Aerial Theatre outside the forum at 12.45pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
Festival opening: Barrow Park, 9pm-11pm, featuring Kara Circus (India) and Fidget Feet (Ireland). This is Fidget Feet's only performance of Lady Silk over the weekend, and is certain to be one of the highlights. A spectacular and beautiful blend of aerial dance, circus, music and video, it is not to be missed.

Zircus Plus
The main part of today's festival (including a little top!) will take place in Barrow Park from 2pm-11pm.
Other performances outside the forum at 11.15am, 12.45pm, 1.45pm and 3.15pm and in the town centre from 12 noon - 4.30pm.
