Wednesday 28 July, 2010: Talkin Tarn Country Park, Brampton

Thursday 29 July, 2010: Whinlatter Forest

Friday 30 July, 2010: Grizedale Forest

Lakes Alive brings this nature trail with a difference to three woodland areas of Cumbria - Talkin Tarn, Brampton, Whinlatter Forest and Grizedale Forest.

Bring a picnic, and take a stroll through these magical settings, where you'll find all sorts of wonderful happenings, from strolling creatures hiding behind trees, to art installations and entertaining shows to experience.

Watch a performance that takes place in the belly of a giant pig, join Hansel and Gretel on their woodland adventure, be recruited to join a wolf pack, see an artist create pictures on logs using fire... but don't forget to watch out for the Big Bad Wolf or you really are in for a big surprise!

The event is free, but some performances have a limited capacity. Places for these will be allocated on a first come first served basis on the day.
