Commissioned in 2009 The Troll's Kitchen was a new show from Plunge Boom in which a group of chefs have to create a meal for a hungry troll. Members of the public don chef's hats and help to forage for ingredients before helping to prepare a banquet of repungant stews, rancid cup cakes, putrid smoothies and the like.

The show premiered at Once Upon a Summer's Day in Workington and Keswick and returned for Mintfest in 2009. 

Since then the company have spent much of their time creating a TV programme for Children's BBC but the show went out on tour again in  Summer 2011 playing at venues including London and Derby.
