Lance and Brenda from Axial Dance was commissioned by Lakes Alive in 2009. It is a 1960s retro dance piece centred around a couple and a Lambretta by Axial Dance and had its premiere at Dace Daze in Penrith before returning for Mintfest in 2009.

Since then it has had plenty of bookings all over the UK, and in July 2011 it celebrated it 100th performance at London's Greenwich and Docklands Festival.
