Introducing Lakes Alive 08

An inspiring series of events bringing the hills and streets of the Lake District alive with the sights and sounds of the very best outdoor performers and artists from across the world.  

This new season features an opening spectacle on the shores of Windermere, a captivating show by the irresistible Nicole et Martin from Switzerland and stunning acrobatics and scintillating music in two street arts roadshows.  The season culminates with Mintfest, the North West’s brand new international street arts festival taking place at locations across Kendal at the end of August.

Embark on a different kind of adventure in the Lakes this Summer and be wowed, captivated, amazed and inspired.

The programme for Mintfest on the Road has been changed due to the unexpected cancellation of the Bani Obashwe tour.  We are pleased to announce that Bash Street Theatre will now be performing Cliffhanger!
